It's that time of year again, the time to try to figure out what to get your loved ones for Christmas. This can be an exciting time. It's fun to browse stores or online shops for ideas of what to get everyone. But it can also be super frustrating when you don't have a single idea of what to get someone. It's even more frustrating when that person won't give you any help by saying that they don't know what they want for Christmas.
I've also been guilty of telling others that I don't know what I want for Christmas. When that happens, it makes it even harder to find the perfect gift for someone. What if you get them something too impersonal? What if you get them something too personal? There are plenty of other what ifs that come to mind as well but the main point is you want to get them something they'll love, and there's an uncertainty of if they'll love your gift to them if they don't give you any ideas for what it is they want.
When you get someone something they love, however, it is such a rewarding experience. You get to see the joy on their face when they open it and you get the satisfaction of knowing that you did a good job picking out their gift.
I already have a Holiday Gift Guide blog post with ideas for gifts from my own shop, but this post will give you even more sources of gift inspiration for you to pull from to find the perfect gift for each of your loved ones!
Let's get to it!
What makes this guide great:
What I love about this guide is how extensive it is. There are so many different categories to look through, including a category of gift ideas to get yourself! I've never seen that before so I love the originality of that. There's the typical gifts for guys, gifts for moms, types of categories, but there's also categories in specific price ranges as well as more specific categories such as gifts for beauty gurus and little luxuries. You're sure to find a lot of inspiration from this guide.
What makes this guide great:
Alright, so this is actually a group of different guides but there is a great selection to browse through here. Plus, this blogger and I share the same first name so of course I wanted to see what she had on her blog (haha). There's guides for parents, grandparents, and in-laws as well as a gift guide for "The Jetsetter" aka any of the people on your list who love to travel. Another great guide on this blog is the "Early Black Friday Sales List + Cozy Holiday Gift Guide". This post was from 2019, so the sales aren't relevant anymore but I love the idea of putting a guide together of all things cozy!
What makes this guide great:
BuzzFeed probably has the most organized and detailed group of gift guides that I've ever seen. As you can see in the picture above, there are five different tabs to choose from for how to find a guide for what you're looking for. You can search by recipient, such as brother or coworker, category such as romantic or practical, interest such as outdoors or food + kitchen, price range, or even impact, which lets you look at small businesses, minority-owned, or eco-friendly gifts. Once you select an option, you're given a choice of articles that each have tons of gift ideas to take a look at. You're sure to find something for someone with this guide.
What makes this guide great:
We love people who support small businesses!!! This guide is filled with gifts from Etsy shops and should you find something to get a loved one from it, you'd also be getting the satisfaction of supporting a small business owner's dreams. A bit cheesy, but it's true. There are also other gift guides to check out on this blog, but I wanted to specifically highlight this one for that very reason.
Thank you for checking out this blog post! I hope you found it helpful and that you now have a pleathora of ideas for what to get your loved ones for Christmas.
